Feeling a little confused? That’s ok! Here is a quick how-to guide on using a forum
The most important thing to know about forums are topics and categories.
Topics are a spot where we can all come together and talk about a certain well… topic! It’s a bit like a big group text message, where we all come together and chat. There’s lots of different topics (just like being a part of lots of groups text messages) that you can go and talk in. An example of a topic might be ‘What’s your favourite videogame?’.
To make sure all the different topics don’t get muddled up, they’re sorted into categories. Categories are really just like a folder to keep all the topics in. For example, the ‘What’s your favourite videogame?’ topic might be inside the ‘Geek stuff’ category! Inside that category, there would also be other geeky things, like ‘Look at this cool app I made’
If you’re still a bit confused, that’s totally fine. It’s a good idea to just start playing around, replying to things, and you’ll get the hang of it in no time. If you still have some questions, you can reply to this, and we will answer them for you.
